The project brief was to re-design and re-build the Fletcher Homes & Land website on the Webflow platform, which was previously built in WordPress, improve functionality, speed up weekly maintenance and improve SEO. The new website now currently sits on page one of Google for the desired keywords and location.
Saltings on Porthmeor provides premium holiday accommodation based in St Ives, Cornwall. Their previous website was looking dated and was built on the WordPress platform which was slow and difficult to update. The website was not ranking well on Google and so they needed a fresh new website.
Drawing inspiration from the architecturally designed accommodation, I designed a contemporary website that ooze's style and elegance. I developed the website on the Webflow platform and integrated their existing booking software. Finally I worked on the SEO and now the site ranks page one on Google based on popular search phrases.
Farm Cornwall approached me to help them re-brand their charity and to launch a new Webflow website that would help them attract new members and reach more farms across Cornwall.
I designed a modren new logo and brand identity that encompasses their values and re-designed and built a new dynamic and scalable Webflow website which has helped re-position the charity.
Based in Cornwall, SneddonClark approached me to design and build their new website. Their existing website was built on the WordPress platform however it was outdated and slow.
The new website required a complete overhaul both in terms of design and content. Interactive visuals were developed in Figma ahead of the site build so that SneddonClark could visualise the new site. Although the logo remained, the brand design was developed to align with their target audience. Once approved, I began building the site in Webflow includeding a custom CMS Collections and the final site was optimised for search engines.
Based in London, Digiterre is a software and data engineering consultancy working across the energy and financial industries. Digiterre approached me to standardise their marketing material, which included sales sheets, case studies, exhibition graphics, social media graphics etc... I aligned all customer touch-points with a consistent visual tone of voice through layout, typography, colour and imagery.
Kate approached me to re-brand her pilates studio and to re-vamp her existing website to align it with her vision for the pilates studio. The old website was built in WordPress and I completely re-designed and built the site in Webflow, which allowed me to design a visually engaging website for students to learn more about the studio.
Falmouth based Liebowitz & Partners required a new website to promote their new EXO151 Yacht. they had previously had a WordPress website but struggled to manage constant WordPress theme and plugins and felt that WordPress was slow and felt old.
I introduced them to Webflow and they instantly knew it was the right CMS and platform to promote their new EXO151 Yacht. Big imagery and animation was used throughout the website to help tell the story of the new yacht and to position the website at the high end ship builders.
Based near St Just in Cornwall, The Cornish Wedding Barn required a new website and brand to help promote the wedding barn. I first started with the brand design that echos the characteristics of the barn which was bo-ho and rustic. Because the wedding barn is located on a working farm it was also important that this was conveyed in the brand design. Working with my wife, Sarah, who is an illustrator, a series of hand drawn illustrations of farm animals and wedding barn features where developed to tie the whole brand design.
The new bespoke website was built in Webflow and features a walk-through video, detailed information on each of the wedding packages and a dynamic budget calculator developed in Jotform and integration of Calendry and Google Calendar for booking visits.
Based in Penzance, Stacey Mann Estates previous website was built on the WordPress platform and over the years it became too big, the site was slow to load and overall it was difficult for the end user to use. I rebuilt the website in Webflow and to help increase load times I developed CMS collections with multi-reference fields so that image paths could be used from Rightmove. I also developed a bespoke filtering system to help users quickly find properties they are looking for.
Based in Manchester, J.Osborne specialise in health and safety in the workplace and employment law. Their old site was a WordPress website which was looking a little dated and hard to maintain. The new site was redesigned in Figma and built in Webflow. It is an informative website but features a secure members only area where registered clients can login and download a vast range of employment law documents. This was achieved by using Webflows built-in Users functionality.

I have worked as a graphic and digital designer for over 30 years. With a clean design style I have a passion for branding and Webflow design and development and love nothing more than to transform a new or existing business into a successful brand both online and offline.
I designed and coded my first website in 1997, worked through the .com bubble in the 90’s and during my career I have built, managed and led large teams of designers and developers on bespoke web projects and applications for startup’s, SME’s and blue chip clients in the UK, Europe and Internationally.

Q - How much does a Webflow website cost?
The cost of a Webflow website can vary dramatically based on various requirements such as how many pages you require, the complexity of the website, whether you need branding, additional graphic design support, and if you need integrations such as MailChimp, HubSpot Make.com, Zapier etc... Also worth considering is how advanced you would like interactivity and animations on your website. As you can see there are many variables regarding a website so its difficult to place a fixed price on a website. As a guide however, a typical website engagement starts at £5K for Webflow design and development. If you already have a design and just need the site building then the cost will be lower. Q - Do you offer SEO and AEO support?
Yes, absolutely, as standard all Webflow sites I build include correct use of on-page title tags, H1, H2, H3, H4 etc..., meta descriptions, meta titles, on-page content SEO such as keyword density, image optimisation, Open Graph setup, Schema Markup, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, XML sitemaps and AI search setup for websites like ChatGPT. Q - Do you use AI?
Yes and no. For all creative work I do not use AI tools to formulate ideas. Generative AI tools are widely used to produce images but I will not use them for your project, this ensures you receive unique design work. I do however use AI in some aspects of my non-creative work to speed up repetitive tasks and business admin.
Q -What is Webflow?
Webflow is a modern web development platform that provides an easy to use Editor for businesses to manage their website yet a powerful Content Management System (or Collections as they are called in Webflow), which can be configured for virtually any dynamic content. Unlike a lot of other popular website platforms, Webflow is built in such a way that it allows you complete control over the design and functionality of your website. Webflow websites are hosted on super fast and secure Amazon Servers which means they load instantly, they are extremely secure and rank highly on Google due to built in SEO features. Unlike WordPress, Webflow does not reply on external plugins or themes and writes clean code and is free from Malware and other security issues, meaning there are no monthly updates unlike WordPress and its Themes and Plugins. Q - Why do you use Webflow and not WordPress?
For many years I used WordPress, however in 2022 I moved to Webflow as my preferred web development platform. My clients love Webflow because of how fast their websites load, SEO and ease of use. Webflow is not a drag and drop site builder, it is a powerful modern development platform which provides granular control over the design of your site and functionality, something that most professional platforms do not provide.
Q - Is Webflow more expensive than WordPress?
Based on years of experience and 100’s of websites under my belt, Webflow is not only cheaper to develop a bespoke website than WordPress, there are no ongoing costs for plugin and theme updates, security software, SSL’s, expensive hosting or monthly maintenance support. Webflow on the other hand takes care of everything at a competive price.

Unfortunately not, I am a dedicated Webflow designer and developer and have chosen Webflow due to its's advanced and modern web development features which out shine WordPress on many fronts. Q - Why should I choose you over an agency?
With over 30 years experience you are in safe hands. I have worked as an in-house designer, within multiple studios and as a studio owner. There are two main reasons why working with me over a studio is better for you. Due to my overheads I can complete the same project at a more competitive price. Secondly, you will be working with me directly so no need to go through a project manager which can slow a project down. I do not outsource any of the work which also means I can maintain the highest quality of work within your budget and timescales.
